Growing up in New Jersey; Nem was inspired by such productions like Rick Rubin, Quincy Jones, Dr. Dre, Timbaland, Alchemist, Kanye West, DJ Khalil, Jake One and such artist like Big Pun, Eminem, Jay- Z and J Cole. Music has always played a major role throughout Nem Nieves' upbringing as he was introduced to a vast amount of genres at an early age, But it wasn't until the age of 17 where Nem Nieves suffered the major loss of his older brother that steered him into production making as coping mechanism to deal with such a major loss.
