Born and raised in Sofia, Bulgaria, K.LINA always had a passion for the arts. From a very young age she loved to draw and sing. In her senior year of high school, she created an Instagram account where she would post covers of her favourite songs. This helped her develop her instrument skills and motivated her to release her own music. After graduating, she moved to the UK where she formed a band of international musicians. Together they performed in some of London’s most iconic music pubs such as The Half Moon Putney and The Dublin Castle. In 2020, she returned to Bulgaria but continued to release songs in English, performing them at various Bulgarian festivals. In 2022, she released her first song in Bulgarian “Виж се само” (“Look At Yourself”) as a duet with Peeva. The humour of the lyrics and the creativity of the video earned K.LINA her first award “Best Hip Hop Female Collaboration” at The 359 Hip Hop Awards. In 2024, she was nominated for her first BG Radio Award in the category Best Combination with the iconic duo Bratya Argirovi for reviving one of their biggest hits “GOT E”. The young artist was not afraid to experiment with different styles to find her sound, but is now confident that her best songs are yet to come…
