With his intricate rhyme schemes and old school flow, MC DilaJintz is a refreshing sound in Hip-Hop. Born in 1995 in Winnipeg, Canada, DilaJintz began music at a young age, learning every instrument he could get his hands on and writing as much lyrics as he had paper for. DilaJintz began his musical career as a vocalist for the death metal band Pentapuss from 2012-2016, but was a Hip-Hop head at heart, and began freestyling at the end of shows before departing the metal scene and beginning his Hip-Hop journey. He was the co-founder of the Winnipeg Hip-Hop group Beat Generation, along with Paragon (Winnipeg), and later joined by producer Redi Jedi (Brandon, MB). After creating a foundation in his home town, releasing a single album and opening up for artists such as Freddie Gibbs, Merkules, Apathy & Celph Tilted, RA The Rugged Man and more, he departed Canada to Texas where he continued his journey as a Texas-based Hip-Hop artist. DilaJintz met Salus Herb in San Antonio in 2017 where they co-founded the Texas based Hip-Hop group Ideal Collective. Since 2017, Ideal Collective have released the album "Ideal Sessions Vol. 1", a handful of music videos, and have played multiple shows throughout Texas. With many more singles, a 12-track album and music videos in the works, DilaJintz and Ideal Collective have been on a steady grind of adding a much needed sense of culture back into the Hip-Hop scene.
