We’ve all heard the saying that pressure makes diamonds. We've all also heard that pressure bursts pipes. In reality, experiencing trials and tribulations can either be a blessing or a curse. It depends entirely on the individual. This sentiment seems relevant to the story of TBish, an undeniable upcoming force in the maturing Australian Drill landscape. Growing up in the Uk and external districts of Brisbane wasn’t simple, but these brutal realities simply ensured he was poised to seize his chance at success when it came. A lifelong passion for rap music developed into an obsession with the explosion of UK Drill, and its subsequent iterations down under. Evidently influenced by pioneers such as Headie and Kwengface, TBish began rapping and quickly discovered he had a natural talent for it. With his distinctive deep voice, unorthodox flows, and natural charisma, tracks like "Finish Him" and "For the Team" quickly asserted his talent on an underground level. However, this was only the beginning of the story for TBish. Aged 18, the world around him started to turn darker; friends went to prison and watchouse stays started. The result? Tbish just went even harder with the music, dropping drill bangers such as "Trenches" and "Endless Trips". Recently linking up with 410 member Jay Slapit on "Temple", TBish is now turning his attention past just Brisbane, and so he should. Who knows what's next for TBish - but one thing for certain is his continued rise. -oli.k GRM Daily
