Elite Force's first releases appeared in 1996 and he is widely recognized as one of the key players in the 'breakbeat' or 'nu-skool breaks' genre that emerged around that time. His DJ style, however, was often referred to as Tech-Funk, which was an amalgamation of House, Electro, Techno and Breaks. This open-minded approach allowed him to retain the eclecticism he'd always been drawn to and by the end of the 2000s he'd been nominated for numerous Breakspoll Awards and was regularly playing as far afield as China, Australia, Kazakhstan, Canada, Russia, Turkey, Norway, Mexico, Ukraine, Italy, USA, New Zealand, Spain and all points in-between.
