Blue Rivers is a voice for the outsiders - the Canadian rapper born in Brampton ON found his rhyme style as a poet but soon found his footing in Rap. Rivers started his career with the Liminal Poets, a collective featuring Jashae and Sawan K. The the trio released Blink and the Indigostream EP with Themacj. Through the years Rivers has worked with Tommy Belmont, yungwillias, Adrien Artez and Mudra Ito. 2020 saw the inception of the art collective GRG CULT (garage culture). The collective is home to Blue Rivers, Tommy Belmont , OwG, and KEN!. Blue Rivers and KEN! teamed up to release BLUEKEN! late 2020. Rivers' 2021 saw the release of two full length albums. SOLSUN was the project was the first step towards the realization of mellow rap and where Blue cements himself. Later in the year Blue released CLEAR PATH TO NOWHERE with Sawan K. A more personal dive into what Blue Rivers tick. Rivers’ 2022 started with the release of A LIGHT IN SHINING DARKNESS with Scarborough native LastSun after Blue heard his RA' DIALECT beat tape. The rest of 2022 was spent recording BLUEKEN 2 with KEN! while working on projects with Sawan K and James Weaver. Rivers spent most of 2023 performing shows with GRG CULT and linked up with Crawl Spaces for Fledge Fest in Michigan. Rivers released floating (away)! with Sawan K before releasing GHOSTIN’ alongside James Weaver as a single leading up to their album Peace Party. Blue & KEN! released BLUEKEN!! in September 2023.
