switch1eighty' debut album 'Iconoclast' is gaining the attention of Rap fans all around Australia and the world, and why wouldn't it? with features like the late great Prodigy from Queens, Fortay from Western Sydney and C.O.L.V from London this album is putting switch1eighty and his label Oort Cloud Productions on the 'World Wide Rap Rader' switch1eighty 'the go getter' is a Lebanese-Australian from Bankstown Sydney. His childhood was ruff as he and his sister had nothing handed to them growing up and learnt the hard way that you only get back what you put in. After kindly being asked to leave school by teacher, the artists occasional drug habit became somewhat of an addition, as he used illicit drugs to escape his reality from the pain of growing up in a broken home and the lack of direction his life had now taken. In light of this, his Mum decided to move him and his sister away from the toxic family environment in Adelaide to Sydney for a new start. In isolation, and away from the negative influences of his past, SWITCH1EIGHTY got clean, returned to school and used skating, rapping and reading to help turn his life around, hence his stage name.
