Swelly, owner of the upcoming Swollen Ant brand, hails from the city of Lafayette, Louisiana. He has released multiple LPs under this moniker, including a new Tonite Show album from the popular series by the Bay’s finest, DJ Fresh and other individual releases, such as the What It Ain’t EP and a popular single with DNA, “Know What I’m Sayin." Swelly has been producing beats for himself and other artists for over a decade and has been a performing artist since 2004. He’s shared the stage with the likes of Big Pooh of Little Brother, Jay Worthy, Planet Asia, A-Plus and Casual of Hieroglpyhics and Aceyalone.
