The Irons is an alternative rock band and performative group that formed in Austin Texas in 2017. The performing members include Hayden Havard (singer/songwriter), Robert Harris (guitar), Nathan Pittman (drums), Caleb Tippit (guitar), and Willy Stegman (bass), who all live together and make music out of their home in Austin. Their first album, “Peter Clear Boy”, released in 2018, is the first in a series of concept albums that assume characters representing different landmarks in the hero’s journey. Their latest album “He’s About to Blow”, is the third installment in this journey, where we take a look at the final moments of a character in distress - who, for reasons that are a little unclear, explodes in public, leaving no indication of his whereabouts.
