Táyra Alline de José Augusto (born October 31, 1996) is a Mozambican singer, model and chemical engineer student known as “Táyra”, she is known for being part of the collective label DreamInc. Starting her singing career by doing vocals with the musician Ailton Matavela known as “Trzks” in being part of his first EP “Filhos Da Terra”, also the release of the cover she made on Kanye West song “Heartless” available on her Soundlcloud. King Cizzy took her under his wing while creating DreamInc, she became the only female artist in the label so far, her vocals are seen on “BUTW”, “FUTW” & “Highway to Litherland” and the notorious song “Breakfast Talk” that is on King Cizzys Album “JUNIOR”. She has done many collaborations with other artists but after moving to Cape Town to further her studies and meeting known artist Milli3, that’s when she started developing her sound to a more chilled neo, rnb, soul alternative vibe that is smooth to the ears. Her debut EP “Conflicted” is a mix of all these genres of a girl who feels trapped in her emotions, relationships in how she doesn’t know how to deal with them but at the same time she wants to embrace it but also different perspectives of others relationships in her eyes and the willingness to thrive, feel loved and be somebody. “Conflicted” is about the tribulations that a relationship withstands, if it is really possible to love someone till the end of time or we aspire to the commodities of staying with someone to not end up alone.
