VDO is a rock band based in El Paso, TX. It all started in 2010 when brothers Daniel and Sergio Domínguez, who had already been in a previous act known as Jadis & Spade mostly active in Cd. Juarez in the early 00's, decided to continue under a more specific direction under the guise of VDO standing for "Vicarious Divine Ordeal". Partly inspired by David Cronenberg's 80's cult hit Videodrome, the name VDO was also a play of words or letters trying to link the band to science fiction themes and tie the music to images and cinema. After performing with several line ups it was only natural that in search for the perfect drummer they would get back together with Daniel Gomez from J&S who already had the most natural chemistry with the brothers. As is the usual case, VDO is currently writing more material.
