Omar Doom, though widely recognized for his iconic roles in Quentin Tarantino’s Death Proof and Inglourious Basterds, was a musician long before stepping into acting. His passion for music ultimately led to STRAIGHT RAZOR, a project that blends darkwave, techno, and EBM with sinister beats and hypnotic rhythms. After a foundation of singles and remixes, Doom released the STRAIGHT RAZOR Vol. 1 EP in 2021, followed by Vol. 2 in 2022, establishing his unique, dark sound. In 2023, he founded DOOM VISION, his own record label, launching it with STRAIGHT RAZOR – REMIXED, an EP featuring remixes from underground luminaries Gost, Corvad, Moris Blak, Nightcrawler, Destryur, and ESA. Doom Vision then released DESTRYUR’s critically acclaimed album Dimensions, featuring standout tracks like “UNDER YOUR SKIN” and “TERRIFY” STRAIGHT RAZOR’s momentum continued into 2024 with the August 16 release of “The Curse,” the first single from his upcoming album Casualty. The music video, starring Sara Cummings and directed by Joe Cardamone, set a dark and intense tone for the album’s theme. Following this, on September 27, the second single, “Casualty,” was released, featuring model Vilena Poterba. The third single, “Black Smoke Rising,” set for release on October 25, promises a Halloween-themed visual experience.  Doom will unveil his full-length album Casualty on Friday, December 13, 2024, followed by a release party and live performance in Los Angeles on December 15.
