Her performing, described as having "both intellectual depth and musical intelligence, virtuosic brilliance, and a rarely heard mastery of the color palette" (Windkanal), is "more poetic than exuberant, despite its occasional flashes of virtuosity" (Image Hifi). She made her solo debut with the world premiere recording of the rediscovered baroque recorder sonatas by A.H. Schultzen (Raum- klang, 2015), which was enthusiastically received on an international scale by audiences and critics alike on an international scale. Barbara's recent work focuses on interdisciplinary and historical narrative programs, including "The Day the Cicada Sang" and "Baroque Crime Stories". As a recorder and cornetto soloist and chamber musician, she has graced stages across Europe, including prestigious venues like the Musikverein Vienna, DeSingel Antwerp, and concert halls in Vienna and Madrid, as well as renowned festivals like Trigonale and the Recorder Festival in Bad Kissingen and Stockstadt. Besides co-founding the ensemble „"La Ninfea," she serves as an assistant and artistic director withvarious baroque orchestras and ensembles. Her recordings can be found on labels like Raumklang, CPO, Perfect Noise, audite, and Sony.
