With echoes of the early 90s Melbourne indie folk-pop scene brought into the late 2010s, Shadowboard encapsulate both maturity and freshness of spirit. Shadowboard's songwriting emphasises style variety and honest, heartfelt lyrics, showcased by their debut EP “Outlines” - embraced by radio at home and abroad. Their single, Ink, maintained a No. 1 position on the Triple J Unearthed Roots charts for 3 weeks. In early 2017 Shadowboard put their energies into producing the soundtrack for the acclaimed St Kilda Football Club's "Home Soon" promotion. Shadowboard’s shows are a mixture of warm storytelling and heart, with the energy of a private party for the closest of friends.
