Biography

After more than 25 years as principal of São Paulo Symphony Orchestra - OSESP, Brazilian Symphony Orchestra - OSB and Espírito Santo Symphony Orchestra, Rogerio Wolf is currently dedicated to solo and chamber music concerts. He is president of the Brazilian Association of Flutists- ABRAF, professor at the Superior School of Music of the Cantareira-SP School, São Paulo Municipal School and Instituto Baccarelli. In 2015 he was a member of the jury of the III International Maxence Larrieu Flute Competition in Nice, France, he recorded his "Images" CD with the Budapest Radio Symphony Orchestra and taught at the Conservatoire Superior de Geneva, Switzerland, as a guest teacher. He has performed as a soloist in several orchestras including OSESP, OSPA, USP Symphony, Ribeirão Preto Symphony, Campinas Symphony Orchestra, Santos Symphony Orchestra, Paraguay National Symphonic Orchestra, Amazonas Philharmonic and Espírito Santo Symphonic Orchestra among others. He often performs recitals and masterclasses in various parts of the world such United States, Spain, Germany, France, Switzerland, Russia, Finland, Ecuador, Argentina, Costa Rica, Portugal and Slovenia.
