Númenor style is a very unique one: placed between epic 80s/90s power/heavy metal and Scandinavian black/death metal from the 90s. Various influnces could be tracked in their style: from Iron Maiden, Rhapsody/Luca Turilli, Blind Guardian to Bal-Sagoth, Covenant, Arcturus, old Dimmu Borgir or Old Man's Child. While their debut album ''Colossal Darkness'' and second full-length ''Sword and Sorcery'' were based more on keyboard influences their later records contain more 80s/90s heavy/power metal background. The lyrical concept goes from Michael Moorcock to J.R.R.Tolkien. But, moreover there are some moments from even H.P. Lovecraft, while few songs have diffrent (dark) fantasy base. The band is also quite know for the most epic and traditional cover artowrks done by Dobrosav “Bob” Živković. For 2021 Númenor has prepared their 4th full-length ''Draconian Age''. On the opening track ''Make the Stand'' Hansi Kürsch (Blind Guardian, Demons & Wizards) appeared as a lead vocalist. This is the very first time that Hansi Kürsch has recorded a duet with black metal vocalist. ''Draconian Age'' is even a heavier record, with some songs based on traditional black metal, but still there are power and heavy metal songs.
