Nestor Davila, known artistically as DVILA was born in 1992 in San Juan, Puerto Rico and grew up in the municipality of Carolina where he has lived all his life. He grew up loving music and he believes that music chose him and not the other way around. 
 At a young age, he realized that he had a natural gift for hearing rhythms, out of tune moments, cadences and the harmony of voices. Although he entered college to study architecture and liked that profession, he realized that this was not his passion. 
 Looking to find his future, he became a physical education teacher and later a pharmaceutical technician, but nothing fulfilled him like creating music. From the age of 17 he had forty different jobs, studied four careers and discovered that music was the only thing that kept him motivated to grow as a human being and thus communicate his message to the world. 
 His musical influences are as complex, eclectic, and soulful as the music he creates. Influenced in his childhood by Christian music; later he admired artists like Jadiel, Arcangel, Randy, Zion, Don Omar, Farruko, Tony Dize and other icons of the old school of reggaeton. DVILA creates fresh and melodic music that conveys feelings and can appeal to people of all ages.
