Producers Simon Ferdinand and Basch met by coincidence during a move of a mutual friend in the midst of Hamburg St. Pauli back in 2016. While hauling heavy boxes around, they discovered their same interest and taste in electronic music. Couple of beers later at a now sadly defunct club venue close to the harbor, Simon tried to sell Basch one of his barely used synthesizers (never happened). Still with intentions of buying it, Basch met Simon again at his cozy home studio where they played endless sessions together ever since. Many sketches and unfinished tracks later, the duo recorded their very first album Forget Forgot Forgotten live with analog drum machines and synthesizers back in 2018. After their EP Bonn Remixes feat. gentlemen Lauer and Iron Curtis in 2019, Bonn is back with ’Ravenous’— a 3 tracker produced with dark and sweaty club environments in mind. Remember those glorious times? Still missing dance floors, though. Punchy kick drums, shimmering percussions, haunting arpeggio bass lines and hypnotic melodies that definitely will get stuck in your long-term-memory. Promised.
