Yan is an artist from Myanmar representing Westside. Even though he was doing music and collaborations ever since his teenage years, around 2013 with artists like Shwe Htoo, Ko Khant, Myat Amara Maung etc; it was 2019 and forward that he later focused on his solo career. His very first studio album titled "The Naked Mind" was released in 2020 with a record deal from Joox with various feature artists like ReLoad, 223. Already a classic for the fans, the album received positive reception among the local hip-hop community and critics. He is known for his hard-hitting bars, simple, sophisticated yet innovative rhyme schemes and sometimes deemed politically charged and controversial lyrics. While having met with controversy in the past due to his music being radical, others praised him for being brave, revolutionary and wanting to challenge the norms to be rapped or created a song about in Myanmar music landscape, especially in Hip-Hop. He has announced his 2nd studio album to be released around the end of 2024 but still dropping singles and collaboration tracks with other artists along the way.
