Ismael Alcina (1986 Cádiz, Andalusia, Spain) is an Andalusian bassist, teacher, composer and researcher, originally self-taught and later graduated in jazz and popular music studying with Gary Willis. He began in Cadiz's folk and flamenco scene when he was a child. Later, he established himself professionally as a session musician, performing and recording with relevant and different artists on the national scene for 20 years (check some tracks Ismael Alcina - Discography as sideman).
