I was an NES kid, and the rigid 8-bit melodies and themes in those games really exposed me to the concept of music and counterpoint at a young age. Early piano lessons further developed my fascination with music theory, and I started composing my own melodies in grade school. I was born with a type of muscle and nerve dystrophy called Charcot Marie Tooth, so when most kids were playing sports I was playing video games or writing music. I earned a Bachelor’s degree in music composition and a Master’s degree in film scoring, and would love to compose music for the gaming industry someday. In the mean time I write songs, collaborate with other artists, and arrange lullabies for my baby niece and nephews.
