Born in Salford in 2002, Isabelle spent seven years of her childhood living in New Jersey, and US east coast musical influences are clear to hear in her alt-pop sound. Always musical as a youngster, Isabelle began songwriting at age thirteen, and people were immediately taken with her strong hooks, haunting melodies and soulful sounds. Tarran cites artists such as Ruelle, Birdy and Aurora as inspirations for her electro-pop EP "Becoming." Moving forward, she is excited to return to her roots with new era of rock-pop and pop-punk, following in the footsteps of her childhood heroes: Paramore and Avril Lavigne. Now living in St Helens, the former LIPA Sixth Form student is making a name for herself across the northwest. A potent mix of arresting tunes and candid lyrics reflecting the emotional struggles experienced by many teenage girls have combined to bring her a growing fanbase. Her tracks are regular highlights on Dave Monks’ BBC Introducing show on BBC Radio Merseyside. Isabelle's latest single, "Celebrity Crush," is an up-tempo, guitar based anthem for a generation of introverts who have fallen in love through TV screens and Twitter. She would like to dedicate it to Hayden Christensen.
