Biography

Nominated by the critics at Opernwelt magazine as Promising Young Artist of 2019, the Munich-born soprano has established herself in recent years as a highly talented young lyric singer. Her busy concert schedule has already taken her to Paris to perform with the Orchestre National de France, to recitals with the mdr Symphony Orchestra, to the Philharmonie in St. Petersburg, to Moscow, the Cologne Philharmonie and frequently to the Elbphilharmonie in Hamburg, where in 2022 she sang Aennchen on René Jacob’s Der Freischütz tour with the Freiburg Baroque Orchestra. Engaged by Frankfurt Operastudio after finishing her studies, she is currently a member of the ensemble at the Freiburg Opera House, where she has sung numerous important soprano roles, including Susanna (The Marriage of Figaro), Vixen (Cunning Little Vixen), Musetta (La Bohème) and Nanetta (Falstaff). Her performance of Mélisande (Pelléas et Mélisande) was acclaimed in the press “highlight of the season” (nmz/Der neue Merker, July 2019). Guest engagements have followed, as Pamina, Aennchen (State Theatre Karlsruhe), Adele, at the Gärtnerplatztheater in Munich, the Theater an der Wien and most recently at the Zurich Opera House. A passionate lieder singer, she works closely together with pianists Helmut Deutsch, Sholto Kynoch, Daniel Heide and Jan Philip Schulze. Recitals have taken her to the Konzerthaus Vienna, Frankfurt Opera, to Zurich, Bayreuth, Budapest, Madrid, Barcelona and Wigmore Hall.
