Hailing from Manchester in the north of England, Ghosting Season started as a side project for the electronica band Worriedaboutsatan. The duo switched projects in mid 2011, as a result of a more dancefloor-orientated sound which had emerged after worriedaboutsatan’s previous records Arrivals (10th Anniversary Edition) (2009) and Heart Monitor (2010) Releasing their debut (and to date only) album The Very Last of the Saints on Sasha's Last Night on Earth imprint, the group continued to tour extensively, and release singles and EPs right up until 2014, when the group decided to switch back to Worriedaboutsatan, and abandon the Ghosting Season project altogether. A smaller release, Fade Out (Lost Tracks), was a 3 track single released in 2016 on co-founder Gavin Miller label This Is It Forever, and was made up of unused tracks from the band’s as yet unreleased second album.
