Following the death of his father from a sudden heart-attack, JJM first began rapping aged 16, spurred by his realisation that life was too short to be lived in fear of judgement. Raised near Brighton (UK), JJM is a committed Buddhist who independently writes, produces, mixes and masters his own music. He uses his art as a platform to share his struggles, pains and perspectives, alongside the mental tools he’s found to provide support through the hardships of life. Having amassed over 35,000 streams across all platforms, he has performed at The O2 Academy Islington, Brixton Jamm, Volks Nightclub, and many more. Age 21, JJM releases a new song and accompanying instrumental every Friday.
