DIVERSION are a Cork-based duo, who have solidified themselves in their local techno scene within the last year. In a short span of time, they have amassed a string of solid self-releases that have been highly supported by artists at home and abroad. The duo has played numerous shows across The Rebel County and made their International debut in Glasgow in May. They’ve earned themselves a residency with Cicada Selects, which is a primarily Cork-based party run by Jamie Lynch, who is one of Cork’s leading promoters at the moment. DIVERSION have recorded a range of mixes for platforms such as Project Radio, FourFour, Reboot and Treecast, while performing across Cork in notable venues like Crack Jenny’s, Cyprus Avenue, and Kino. Their sound can be best described as a mixture of groove-infused techno with a touch of tribal influence for good measure. The duo are constantly refining their sound through means of their track selection and productions.
