Matthew Isais Bowker holds a Bachelor of Music degree in Music Education from Sonoma State University. Mr. Bowker’s principal saxophone teachers include Andy Collinsworth and Steve Cardiasmenos. He has also performed in masterclasses for distinguished artists such as Otis Murphy, Jonathan Yanik, David Henderson and Ryszard Zoledziewski. Mr. Bowker has received the John Philip Sousa Award and Special Commendations for Outstanding Musicianship from the Santa Cruz Jazz Festival.
