Born Delomonté Koonce, Monté is a rapper and singer from Valdosta, GA. At age 11 he got into battle rap with the help of his late uncle who was a beatboxer. Growing up, Monté experienced a lot of hardship from being in the system to homelessness. His ability to overcome these situations is the inspiration for his music.
