Jared ‘Hooseki’ Leckey is an Arizona-based hip-hop artist and producer known for his refreshing approach to ‘road-trip music’. Hooseki recorded his first song on his moms $100 laptop when he was 14 years old, and started producing after winning a copy of FL Studio through an online giveaway. After 10+ years of writing, producing, and mixing for hundreds of artists (credits include Murs, nobigdyl., Beleaf, Wande, WHATUPRG, Jon Keith, Aaron Dews, Xavier Sorrow, Josh Caballes), Hooseki is currently working his self-titled debut. Previously, he appeared on “You Are Like Fire” with his friend Micah Ariss in 2017, garnishing over 25,000 streams on Spotify alone. The following year Hooseki appeared as a feature alongside Datin on FLIGHTSCHOOL’s album single “Take Over”. In 2019 he released a 3-song collaboration project “Highlight Reel” with Avila. “There’s a sense of fulfillment when I create, and that feeling of purpose keeps me going.
