Born Emilio Cole Harrington, Emilio Cole is a 24 year old singer/songwriter located in Riverside County, about 50 miles East of Downtown Los Angeles. Emilio became heavily influenced by a lot of New Gen rappers such as Drake, Lil Wayne, Kendrick Lamar, J. Cole, even naming himself "Boi Besta," but quickly found his calling when he clicked "Ed Sheeran - Lego House (Live Boat Sessions)." From then on, he realized pursuing such a career was a lot harder than expected, but, not impossible. At 12 years old, he began singing by coaching himself, listening to legends, and trying to mimic their tonality. At the age of 15, Emilio started playing guitar after seeing his own idols live at Rockin' Rio 2015, and you are able to see the same green wristband he wore to the festival, around the neck of his Martin & Co. LX1E, as a sign of dedication and prosperity. At the age of 17, he wrote his debut song, "Abby." As Emilio was practicing backstage at his high school talent show, now his great friend and main producer, JaySee had been listening down the hallway and overheard him warming up. JaySee came over to compliment and jam for a little bit. As Emilio played "Abby," JaySee brought up how she wrote music as well and had showed some produced version of her 2 singles, "Just Like Me" and "Monkey Man." From then on, Jay and Emilio have been in the works and you, as a listener, get to hear the final product. Emilio Cole's music can simply be described as indie pop, rock, blues, and dank.
