Born in Haiti, Ash Target has always been an influencer. Whether running charity drives in his hometown of Port-au-Prince, Haiti, playing varsity hoops for his school’s team, or engaging a crowd of music enthusiasts, his charisma is always felt. A disc jockey and producer since the age of 16, Ash Target has been featured in newspaper articles and has made performed in numerous club scenes both locally and internationally. His passion for music led him to pursue and obtain a degree in Audio Engineering at SAE Institute in Miami, one of the world’s leading educators in creative media industries. While he has been with the opportunity to pursue a formal education, he is also self-taught and continues to teach himself new techniques and instruments. As he makes a name for his sounds, his original productions, remixes, and DJ podcasts have been played all around the world. Nevertheless, Ash Target remains humbled by the memory of how his passion started from his room—full of records, CDs, and music equipment. When asked what music means to him, he sums it up by saying, “music is life, and life is a melody.”
