For Darius “Dollababy,” pursuing music has always been a no-brainer. From learning how to play the drums at age 4; to producing, rapping & engineering in high school. Music has always been a passion of Dolla. Born & raised in New Jersey, Dollababy’s music influences stemmed from rappers & groups such as Lil Wayne & Death Row Records. This later lead him to form a group with his brother and 3 cousins called @ModernDayGeneration (MDG.) As a group this family got the opportunity to open up for many major artists, as well as be a part of Fetty Wap’s “Welcome to The Zoo” tour. Due to distance, the group hasn’t been able to release the amount of music they would like. This has pushed Dollababy to keep the ball rolling in the meantime, releasing music as a solo artist.
