ThankYouBus or simply Bus to his loved ones, is a multi-hyphenate creative based in Los Angeles. Growing up on the Far-EastSide of Indianapolis by his single mother, art immediately spoke to him as not only a getaway, but a true way “out”. During his teenage years, Bus began songwriting as an outlet. Fast forward to college, and his creative prowess deepened when he picked up a camera. After that, he really began to tap into his true calling to create no matter the medium -- and he hasn’t let up since. “When I create, regardless of the format, I want people to feel the essence of the old school way, but with a fresh twist,” says Bus. “When it comes to music, it’s always about producing something timeless. I want my music to play in every era.” ThankYouBus was born to create. Given his remarkable ability to blend genres in his music, it’s no surprise that ThankYouBus has been influenced by a wide variety of artists from Erykah Badu, Common and Marvin Gaye to Kendrick Lamar, Solange and Musiq Soulchild.
