BBC Introducing Artist ‘Layla’ has had a very busy year releasing her pop debut ‘Top Of The Morning’ described by Joe Lenzi’ from ‘Sigma’ (who have sold over 2m records) as ‘awesome’ and Layla as ‘very talented.’ TOTM hit over 75k views and second single, 'Pina Colada' 50k views on Youtube with over 103k streams overall on Spotify and added to over 429 playlists by listeners. Multi-platinum producer, ‘Darren Martyn’ who's responsible for hits such as, ‘You Want Me’- Tom Zanetti MO ‘Dance on My Own’, Sadie Ama and Tinie Tempah produced her EP which was released on 21st Feb this year. Layla also recently featured on track called, ‘Get Out Of My Way’ by Hed Kandi’s resident DJ for Ministry of Sound ‘Jali’ which is set to be released later this year. She also recently featured on CITV show, ‘Scrambled’ followed by a school tour of South UK and Wales promoting her music and gaining thousands of new fans. Both singles received critical acclaim with reviews in Buzz Music, Music Talks, Olagist Media and I Luv Live. Surge Radio, BBC Introducing Solent, Hot Radio and Wessex FM have all featured Layla’s music in their shows. Not bad for a first year as a new artist!
