Prettybwoyは東京を拠点にGarage/Grimeを軸に独特な視点を持ってプレイするDJ/Producer。 2013年、Big Dadaからリリースされたコンピレーション Grime 2.0 に、グライムオリジネイター等と共に、唯一の日本人として参加。 日本から見てきたUK garage/grimeの変化の過程、オリエンタルなsinoグライム等それらの断片を繋ぎ合わせ、自分の音楽性のフィルターをかけ、一つの新しいダンスを作り出す。その試行錯誤の産物として2016年立て続けにフランスPOLAARから Overflow EP 上海SVBKVLTから Solstice EP をリリースする。 その独特なサウンドとミックスを武器に初の北京～上海ツアーを成功させる。 近年はCM音楽の提供など幅を拡げながら新作EPも制作中。 Prettybwoy is a UK Garage/Grime DJ/Producer hailing from Tokyo, Japan. From the start of his DJ career he has been one of the few heads in Tokyo really representing the UKG sound. He first got into the London sound in 1999 playing classic UKG tracks and has since developed an interest and name for himself in Garage, Grime and Bassline music - all of which he sees as an extension of UK Garage.
