J.Depina is a producer and vinyl enthusiast from Rhode Island. Beatmaking sparked his interest when he met a friend around the way who was the 1st dude he knew to have DJ equipment. Sitting around in the basement listening to music became the daily routine. Shortly after, taking trips to the record store to dig became frequent. Later when he was about 18, that same friend gave him his first machine, the Gemini DS-1224. Armed with that 12 second sampler and a 4 track cassette joint, J began to get busy. The rest, as they say, is history.
