Manashe Musiq who's full name is Tapfumanashe Rujeko Mutseyekwa is a Durban based Zimbabwean music producer and composer. He was born and bred in the suburbs of Harare where he found his love for music under the mentorship of his late uncle Fortune Tendai Muparutsa. Manashe has worked with some Zimbabwean greats such as the late Andy Brown, Clive Mono Mukundu , Keith Farquharson and more. During his stay in South Africa (SA) he collaborated with award winning Kwaito star L'vovo Derango on a song called Zunza that was released under the legendary Kalawa Jazmee , a South African music powerhouse. Manashe has also worked with some household names in the South African music scene such as Stones & Bones, Ladysmith Black Mambazo, Dust Nkosi , Thabisile and recently Dj Soso on their 2nd EP together titled Emotions. No Good Reason , one of the singles on the EP seems to be a favourite to many , as it features the beautiful melodies of Durban based vocalist Lungwazi. His sound transcends through time and has proven timeless with hits such as Rain the Stones & Bones record he produced and featured on with Candy man hitting the number 1 spot on East Coast radio in SA as well as Summer Love the single he did with Dj Soso reaching the number 2 spot on the 5FM Dance Charts and number 1 on Classic 263 Radio in Zimbabwe for over 8 weeks. Earground ,one of Zimbabwe's finest entertainment chanel has noted him as "a producer who has stepped up to produce a hybrid sound that is richly African".
