This genre-messy duo is where Italian passion meets British quirk with Swiss-born pop-lover Soraya bringing rich, soulful vocals to mould around British-born guitarist Jake. Their music spans the “honest and raw” (CeasarLiveNLoud) storytelling of ‘i love you‘ (2020), the “mellow yet epic” (RockDaFuqOut) lullaby of ‘little friend’ (2020) and the “erratic and unpredictable” (PlasticMagazine) rhythms of ‘SHOUT’ (2024). A visually stunning, one-take performance of ‘little friend’ in a 1000-year-old church led to the duo taking their very own Gaelic choir on their first UK tour filled with “soaring a cappella arrangements, to gentle folk harmonies and intricate acoustic guitar playing” (Brighton & Hove News), back in spring 2022. The duo's “genre-bending sounds and unique creative charm” (LocalandLiveMedia) continues to evolve with their newest single ‘Sunset Horse’. The hypnotic tune explores a self-destructive and internally toxic relationship with galloping Guitars encapsulating an inescapable cycle. The chorus offers a thin veneer of hope with Paul Simon-esque syncopated rhythms and warm vintage synths lending to an almost nostalgic tone. With bold, distorted Guitars worthy of any Halsey track and breathy, intimate vocals reminiscent of Lizzie McAlpine - this melancholic track leaves you both comforted and heartbroken after every listen.
