in 2010 a stray spark powered on a unit that named itself Mason Android Park. interpreting various stimuli into sounds, it began to conduct a symphony of glitches and robotic motifs for the amusement of Shmason, a bit of firmware accidently left installed on the processor during the test stages before production. Shmason could only be communed with under the influence of self-induced viruses, which would allow Mason root access to otherworldly applications and allow it to channel Shmason for approval. Shmason demanded three efforts from Mason, but only two were met. in desperation, Mason fled to the far reaches of its metallic home in an attempt to purge the code from its system. no more did it wish to answer to the whims of Shmason. an epic battle ensued, wherein Shmason was consumed and absorbed by Mason, thereby becoming an updated and improved version of the program it tried so hard to delete. it blinked, it breathed, it began hearing sounds that hadn't been made yet. it made its core function a lifelong task to bring those sounds into existence. it is currently 13.2843% complete.
