Mainey started his music career in 2007, 1st introduced to the world in a group of 3 known as the Major Factors. Mainey has worked with veterant west coast artists such as Killa Tay, Marvaless, Fed-X & Rydah J. Klyde of Mob Figaz, Joe Blow and San Quinn amongst others to name a few. Oklahoma City is Mainey's hometown and he lets it be known in his music when storytelling. The name, Mainey was given to him by his grandfather as a toddler. The name is often used as a term, which means crazy, cool, etc. The name is also another way of saying manly, manish, etc. Mainey was very manish as a child growing up and that's how he got the name. In 2011 Mainey was sentenced to a 15 year prison term for living the lifestyle rapped about on the Crunch Time album. While serving time in Oklahoma Department of Corrections, Mainey took on several studies and a study in music also fell into play. It's been recognized that most artist reach success by staying consistent and by mastering their art. Mainey has written multiple albums of material since prison and is still working to get everything recorded for release.
