Edward George Wright stage named "Kontri Boss" is Sierra Leonean. His love for music had him start off as a Karoke performer for clubs,lounges etc. The years he spent singing helped develop his singing abilities so much that he started performing live for Entertainment. In 2008 he created a music group called 441 The Band with 3 other musicians on the night P Square first performed in Freetown at the National Stadium, that night was the beginning of his journey as a performing artist. Later in 2012 Edward George Wright "Kontri Boss" auditioned for then MTN Project Fame Africa been held in Nigeria at the time and successfully passed the audition, he went into the house and did very well and of course he developed his song writing skills and vocal capabilities. If one is tutored by the very great Sir Ben of MTN Project Fame, you have no choice but be better. He came out of the show a semi finalist due to the poor voting capacity from Sierria Leone. On getting back home, he continued music with his band and won a couple of awards, performed in Liberia, Guinea etc alongside the Likes of R2bess,J Martins etc. In 2020 he is now ready to put out solo projects on International Platforms to be able to showcase his music and also step into the African Mainstream Music properly while representing Sierria Leone in that capacity across Africa and outside Africa.
