Chamberlain Y, born as Yakalu Sumbu Nkole, is an Afro pop Artist, originally from Democratic Republic of Congo, but based in South Africa. He started his music career as a Rumba artist, mixing his music with many genre such as Reggae, RnB, Soul & Hip Hop. His music is multicolored, contemporary, truly authentic and eclectic. In 2007 the Super Star Fally Ipupa was impressed with his talent and accepted to be in his first official music video (La Capricieuse). His peers call him Kongoman, a symbol that allows him to show his Africaness. Thus, the South African industry opened up Chamberlain Y to work with many incredible artists across the world.
