Biography

Considered a pioneer of irish hip-hop, Lethal Dialect is known for being one of the first to marry a distinctly East Coast boom-bap sound with a north Dublin accent inspiring a remarkable new language for Irish artists who followed suit. His debut record LD50, produced mostly by GI is among Ireland’s most pioneering records in any genre, tackling the bravado, paranoia and instability of his experiences over a sonic amble that both grates and glitters. Tracks from the LD50 series have featured in the hit RTE series Love/Hate as well as in the Netflix cult classic film Cardboard Gangsters, which Lethal Dialect also starred in.
