Biography

Darlene Zschech is an Australian worship leader, pastor, songwriter and author who has led millions of Christians in worship and was fittingly awarded the Gospel Music Association's International Award for her impact on the global church. Darlene has written over 100 songs, including "Victor's Crown," "In Jesus' Name," "Worthy Is The Lamb," "At The Cross" and the global anthem "Shout To The Lord," which is sung by an estimated 30 million churchgoers every week. Her most current albums include Revealing Jesus (2013) and Here I Am Send Me (2017), a live project recorded at her church, Hope Unlimited, in New South Wales. Previously while serving as a worship leader and pastor for Sydney's Hillsong Church, Darlene wrote for, performed on and helped produce 16 Gold and one Platinum-selling Australian Recording Industry Association (ARIA) live Hillsong albums. She has also penned best-selling books such as "Worship Changes Everything," "Extravagant Worship," "The Kiss of Heaven" and "The Art of Mentoring," which combined have been translated into 19 different languages. Darlene is passionate about her family and continually makes a strong stand for the importance of marriage, motherhood, (and grandmotherhood) and ministry. Darlene and her husband Mark serve as senior pastors of Hope Unlimited Church, and together they founded HOPE:Global to serve the poorest of the poor.
