Born in Grenada W.I. , lottery was raised on a heavy dose of reggae and soca music. As a young child he moved to Toronto, Canada along with his family. The multicultural mega city was lacking a music industry in the early 90's. All of Lottery's influences came from TV or trips to the local HMV. Getting his first CD Walkman changed everything. The passion for music grew, as did his CD collection. Lottery started to narrow down his favorite Artist very quickly. Jay-Z, Nas and Fabolous were his top 3 for a while. Those names turned Lottery into a sponge, which started his first step into Hip Hop. Next came the introduction to beat making, followed by writing and creating visuals. All of that plus many other encounters has molded Lottery Odds into the artist you hear today. Lottery creates music with a message and purpose.
