Utilizing the dreamy and dark aspects of Melodic and Progressive House to tell his story, BeeGee has been leaving a mark on the minds of his listeners for more than 40 years now. Originally from Istanbul and based in Paris, BeeGee developed his skills behind the deck by playing at Annabel’s London in the late 80’s, and countless events and festivals later on in his career. Besides DJing, BeeGee has spent most of his professional life elevating the electronic music culture in Turkey to international levels by regularly accepting cruical roles for many prestigious events and festivals; and by founding Turkey’s most important electronic music event and radio company FG 93.8. Still the active director of his company and its international festivals — “Chill-Out Festival” and “Electronica Festival” —, BeeGee has managed to host legends of the scene such as Daft Punk, Jamiroquai, The Prodigy and Faithless over the course of his career. In addition to showcasing breathtaking landscapes from around the world with his “w/“ series performances, BeeGee continues to be one of the most important figures in the history of Electronic Music in Turkey by working day and night to find newer, more innovative ways to celebrate the medium and the genre as a whole.
