Straight out of Huntington Beach, CA, HB Surround Sound are no strangers to the music scene. A group of guys who grew up playing music together in Huntington Beach, hanging out at Jake Bushnell’s parents' house, where his dad built a soundproof practice room in the garage. His brother, Duddy B of the Dirty Heads, later turned the garage into a recording studio.
 Having formed in the late 90s and putting out 3 albums before taking time off in 2006, HB Surround Sound was known for originally blending Punk Rock, Metal & Reggae. 
 They were responsible in the early 2000s for introducing Dirty Heads by giving Duddy B (Dustin Bushnell) & Dirty J (Jared Watson) a platform to showcase their talent at live shows. 
 HB Surround Sound has shared the stage with popular acts, such as Dirty Heads, Sublime With Rome, Pepper, Cypress Hill, Matisyahu, Descendents, Pennywise, Avenged Sevenfold, The Aggrolites, and Bad Religion.
