She has always admired works of art, especially through writing. It all started with her interest in reading Indonesian literature in high school. Immediately, she began to channel her passion through songwriting. Inspired by her favorite artist, Vina Panduwinata, Kalista got the opportunity to perform with the diva at her EP-released concert. She released her EP in three different genres: 'Game of Emotion' (pop-rock), 'She's All to Blame' (Blues), and 'Kamu' (Pop) in 2016.
