GTJ (aka Jim Tacon), is a Music Producer and DJ based in Phoenix, Arizona. In 2017, GTJ decided to take his love for house music from the dance floor to the DJ booth. He slowly refined his sound, mixing catchy and eclectic tech house tracks into high energy sets that fill the dance floor. That energy and focus have carried over to his production, with tracks crammed full of groovy basslines, quirky pop culture references, and heavy drops. GTJ’s releases include What She's Having, Bird Facts, and Paradise (GTJ Remix) which featured on Beatport Number One ep Wild Eyes (The Remixes). GTJ’s career highlights include winning the Phoenix Lights DJ competition in 2020, playing festivals such as Goldrush and the Phoenix Full Moon Festival, and opening for well know acts such as Walker & Royce, Black v Neck, Kyle Walker, Chapter & Verse, Autograf, Josh Wink, Matthias Tanzman, and Robbie Rivera.
