NewiZ was trained in classical cello at a young age and played in his school orchestra for many years. While in college, NewiZ discovered and fell in love with music in the realms of melodic, progressive house and melodic techno. After graduating college, NewiZ became a resident DJ with Philadeep, a Philadelphia based music collective and became actively involved in the Philadelphia underground scene. Today, his music continues to evolve and dances between the realms of progressive house and melodic techno, while also drawing inspiration from his classical background. NewiZ's music combines elements of cinematic music and the organic melodies of progressive house to create cinematic and emotional soundscapes.
